Fourth

I spent the next month learning reading from Sister Sarah so I could finish the book on enchantments that she gave me.  I learned that I could cast the enchantment on any living thing and that stronger beings would be able to hold more enchantments.  While I could only hold five enchantments, my friend Shua could hold 10 as he had a higher arcana stat than me.  I could also cast enchantments straight into the flesh of humans, animals and plants; however, they would fade after a week on humans and animals because they were capable of movement and this was not conducive to the rigid structure of the enchantment. Enchantments on nonliving things was possible with expensive inks that could hold mana and serve as the conduit of the enchantments. Enchantments on dead things was possible in the same way, but the ink for this type of enchantment was reasonably affordable.

My mana supplies would only allow me to create one summon per a day or strengthen one stat point. So, I did this everyday and once I had 5 summons created in my spirit and strengthened the arcana stat of each, I had enough skill experience points to strengthen my unique skill.  I could improve the skill by increasing the base stats of all summons created.  Each stat point cost 10 experience points.  There was also an option to give skills to each summon, but these were in the thousands to millions of points to purchase.  I purchased an increase in the base arcana stat and each of my 5 summons increased there arcana by 1.  With these increases I had increased my overall mana pool by around 10%.
